About Us

A Shape of Shound has been founded by Anna Nazaryan, she became a licensed speech-language pathologist because she believes communication is one of the most powerful ways people connect with the world around them. She is passionate about helping children and adults develop the skills they need to express themselves clearly and confidently.

Anna earned her Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Northridge, and has experience working in both clinic and home-based settings. She specializes in early intervention, supporting young children with speech delays, 

articulation challenges, autism spectrum disorder, and other developmental needs. Her sessions are play-based, engaging, and designed to help children feel comfortable while building new communication skills.

In addition to working with children, Anna also helps adults who have experienced strokes and other neurological conditions that affect speech and language. She focuses on helping clients rebuild communication skills and regain confidence in everyday conversations.

Anna values building strong relationships with families and believes that collaboration with parents and caregivers is essential to meaningful progress. She incorporates evidence-based therapy techniques, including PROMPT therapy, to support speech motor development and improve clarity of speech.

Fluent in Armenian and English, Anna enjoys working with families from diverse backgrounds and creating a supportive environment where every client feels encouraged and understood.
